Fermin Vidal, Notary Public ("Fermin," "we," or "us") operates ctmobilenotarypublic.com. This policy applies to this website and the fee estimator and request-a-service pages linked from it.
Information We Collect
When you use the scheduling form, the request-a-service form, or the fee estimator, we collect only what's needed to respond to you and prepare for an appointment:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- The type of notarial service you're requesting
- Preferred appointment date, time, and location or ZIP code
- Any notes or details you choose to include
We don't use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this site. The fee estimator runs entirely in your browser — it doesn't send anything anywhere until you choose to submit a request.
How We Use Your Information
Information you submit is used solely to:
- Schedule, confirm, and prepare for your notarial appointment
- Communicate with you about your request
- Maintain the records of notarial acts that Connecticut law requires notaries to keep
Where Your Information Is Stored
Submissions are stored in a Google Sheet and Google Calendar under Fermin's Google Workspace account, using Google's standard security infrastructure. We don't maintain a separate database, and we don't store payment or financial account information — payment for services is handled directly at the time of your appointment, not through this website.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is disclosed only:
- To Google, as the infrastructure provider hosting our scheduling records
- When required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order
- With your consent — for example, if you ask us to coordinate with your attorney, lender, or title company on a document signing
Data Retention
We retain appointment and client records for as long as needed to provide services and to satisfy Connecticut's recordkeeping requirements for notaries public. If you'd like your information removed sooner, contact us and we'll accommodate your request where we're not legally required to retain it.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to see what information we have on file for you, correct it, or request its deletion (subject to the recordkeeping limits above). Reach out using the contact details below.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
